A touch of cheer

While I think most everyone understands that certain colors work well for different seasons (dark purples, etc for winter; bright blues, etc for summer), it seems like when I’m dressing for work a lot of the the time that I wear my full wardrobe. When you’re in an office, it’s easy to want to throw on that simple (maybe dark colored) sweater and head out the door.

I decided to brighten up my color palette a bit this day with this bright yellow top. It’s one of those shirts that might be too much during the winter, but is perfect during this time of the year.

What do you think about the tones of color by season? Do you find yourself wearing the same colors year round?

Color splash

Some days you just need a splash of color in your outfit to get your day going. I’ve been putting in quite a few hours these days so I’m relying on color to start each day.

Ready for summer

I can’t describe how excited I am that it’s finally starting to look like summer around here! While we still get a rainy day or two, the temp has been in the 70s and 80s and that’s good enough for me!

Hope you’re getting some good weather where you are!

Here comes the rain…

We’ve been a mix of beautiful weather and rainy skies around here lately. It makes it a bit difficult to plan outfits so I’ve been layering up so I’m ready for anything! I always love breaking out this little rain jacket every spring.
