Repeat Offender

Want to know a secret? This is an outfit I’ve worn TONS of times. Yes, same shoes. Same necklace. Same everything. I think all too often we get caught up in trying to never wear the same thing twice and mixing and matching pieces. I really believe that while mixing it up is a great way to get more out of your closet, sometimes you just find an outfit that you like!

Do you have some outfits that you just can’t help but re-wear?

A little ruffled

Somedays you want an outfit that looks put together but isn’t anything too crazy. Sometimes you just want to be comfortable! One of my favorite ways to do this is by wearing jeans and a decorated t-shirt. This shirt wears and feels just like a regular t-shirt, but the ruffles and shoulders make me look like I actually tried! Woohoo! Success!

Military mix-up

I bought this jacket more than a year ago and fell in love. But then I started to think… What can I wear with this? Do I need to wear something high-waisted since it doesn’t cover my full waist? Do I need to continue with the military theme?

Well, in the past I’ve done most of both. When I decided to wear it this time I wanted to mix it up and make it more of a basic staple in the outfit. It was a great, comfortable outfit for more snow!

More snow…

I know I shouldn’t complain when most of you probably are fighting 20 inches of snow in a blizzard but I’m sort of over our weekly snowfalls here. It seems that every weekend we get a few inches. We get just enough to be a pain and to make me not want to wear any shoe that isn’t waterproof.

I decided to keep it dressy and wore my heeled pleather boots instead of my flat boots that I’ve been basically living in.

How are you fighting the snow wherever you are?

In the dark

For some reason my flash didn’t go off for this photo and I think I was running late and didn’t notice that I needed to retake it.

On this day I was presenting some work I’d been working on to the company so I wanted to show off a little bit of my personality and be a little bit more dressed up than usual.
