You all know how much I love affordable clothes. When I talk with girls about how they spent $1,500 on a pair of shoes (not kidding, just had this conversation at a dinner Monday night), I want to keel over.
I love high-end designs as much as the next girl but given that one minute I’m obsessing over cheetah rings and the next over hot pink pants, it’s hard to justify spending that kind of money on clothes. I’d much rather buy 30 pairs of $50 shoes!
That’s why I was so excited when I learned about a new online shop called SwayChic. They do a great job of curating the items they feature so you aren’t spending days digging through pages and pages of pants.
SwayChic was originally founded in 2003 in Berkley, California and currently operates eight stores in the state including in the Bay Area and LA. If I ever get over that way, I just might have to stop in! When they decided to take the business online, they wanted to keep that same fun, friendly, creative atmosphere.
I think they’ve done a great job of it!
I was offered the chance to try out their online store and blog about my experience (I got to keep the clothes but I was not paid for this review and the opinions are all mine, baby!).
The online shop is really easy to navigate and I love that they have Under $10, Under $20 and Under $30 sections of the site. If I’ve got the itch to buy something but want to keep the costs to a minimum I can easily do that!
I quickly fell in love with this Sweet Pea Strap Dress that retails at $36.95.
The cut looked great and I loved the muted colors!
I tried out this dress on the Fourth of July to watch fireworks. It was about 100 degrees outside so this breezy dress was the perfect choice to stay cool while still looking stylish!
I love this dress! For reference on sizing, I’m wearing the small and it fits like a glove!
Woops, I didn’t quite plan my footwear so check out my Volcom sandals with my ‘sweet’ Sweet Pea dress.
Showing a little skin in the back! The straps criss cross to keep everything in place.
