Beauty Tip Tuesday: Spring Makeup Trends

With spring just around the corner it’s time to observe what makeup trends are supposed to be hot in the coming months. If you’re a fan of pastels, well defined brows, bronzer, and coral shades on the lips, then you’re in luck. According to what was seen on the models during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week that’s exactly what we’re in store for. I’m definitely not disappointed with this makeup prediction simply because I love pastels and especially coral lips! I can’t wait to cozy up on my sofa and apply these fabulous new makeup trends on my face. Here’s what is in store for us and why each makeup look is going to be trendy and beautiful.

Spring Makeup Trends

Pastel Colors

Pastel makeup colors are both subtle and lovely. Pastels make me think of everything girlie, vintage, and spring time. Pastels makeup will be both natural and gorgeous. With glowing cheeks and subtle pink lip gloss or lip stick, I can certainly see the pastel makeup look going strong for some time.

Corals

Beautiful and bright coral lips will be like the focal point on a painting. Neutral makeup paired against coral lips will look both tropical and lush. Coral is such a stunning color already so I’m excited to see how it looks this spring and beyond. Just imagine complementing coral dresses and necklaces! Gorgeous!

Bronze Lids

Smokey eyes and bronze colors will be returning and you’ll also be seeing a combination of the two. Smokey eyes will be a great evening time look and when you want to tone it down during the day bronze eye shadow will look sparkly and fresh. Pair your bronze eye shadow with bronzer on your cheeks and look all ready to enjoy the summer time that will soon be here after spring!

I can’t wait to see all of these trends appear as spring gets closer. On Pinterest and on other social media sites I’ve already begun to see a few of these trends appear. All three of these makeup looks are more than just trends to me; they are gorgeous fashion statements that I hope stick around beyond spring and summer.

Women who are going through cancer treatments often feel like they are constantly fighting with their bodies. Wearing stylish clothing that you feel comfortable in is essential whether you are have been diagnosed with mesothelioma, breast cancer, melanoma or any other type of cancer. It is a good idea for women who are battling cancer to buy new clothes because treatments often change the size and shape of their bodies. 

Buying Clothes That Are Comfortable

Many women become uncomfortable with their bodies as soon as they are diagnosed with cancer because they feel that their body is fighting against them. They should purchase clothes that are comfortable and make them feel good, especially when they are going through cancer treatments. Your mesothelioma doctors may even suggest clothing types that will look good on your body and make you feel beautiful. Even if you cannot afford to go out and purchase an entirely new wardrobe, it is essential that you buy at least one outfit that is in style and fits your body well. Taking a friend to the store with you is a good idea because they will be able to help you find the right size and offer advice as to which clothes flatter your figure.

Shoes

Some cancer patients have difficulty walking in even the most supportive shoes, so it is likely that you will have trouble finding stylish shoes that you can actually walk in. Boots are a great choice for fall and winter because they are functional and beautiful. Low heels are a good option for dress because they can be found in beautiful styles and are easy to walk in. You can add supportive insoles to almost shoes, even dress shoes. These insoles support the feet without being detectable from the outside.

It important that your shoes fit well, so you may want to be measured by a professional even if you think you already know what size you wear. Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments can change your entire body, and the size of your feet may be affected by your treatments. It is essential that every pair of shoes fit well in addition to helping you feel beautiful.

Fashion and Feelings

People who are close to you will be able to tell how you feel just by looking at you, and wearing clothes that fit your new body well will make you feel like the strong, confident woman that you are. You should buy a few new pieces each season to update your wardrobe and ensure that you have clothing available that suits any occasion from an elegant dinner party to a yoga class.

1. Hair Products
