I’m pretty much obsessed with the printed tee trend. What’s better for easy, everyday style than a printed tee mixed with something a bit fancier? I’ve seen girls wearing printed tees with sequins skirts, fur coats and everything in between.
That’s why I was super excited to try out a screen printed tee from the Etsy shop Skip N’ Whistle.
How fun is this shirt? Beyond the adorable octopus print, the super soft American Apparel cotton basically feels like your favorite PJs ever, making this the perfect outfit for brunching with some friends at Plush.
Can you tell this black maxi skirt is actually a dress? Underneath the shirt is a hidden spaghetti-strap top to an, also super comfortable, maxi dress a friend gave to me a few years ago.
Of course, it’s still February so even though it was relatively warm, I layered the outfit with an Army-style jacket that I’ve had for years. Anyone remember shopping at PacSun for Volcom back in the day? Anyone?

Have you paired a printed tee with something a bit fancier? Did you love it as much as I do?

I love the tee, I am going to check out her Etsy store. I have some cotton black/gray skirts that would work!
Ooh a gray skirt would look fab with some of their colored shirts!
