Handmade Happy Hour: Best Dressed Contest

Remember a week or so ago when I invited you all to my Best Dressed Contest at the Handmade Happy Hour: Sweetheart Edition? I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous. I’d never hosted anything like this before but I was so excited to celebrate the stylish women and men of St. Louis.

Needless to say, Lindsay of Heartland Underdog knows how to throw a shopping event and we had loads of fun!

As shoppers arrived, I invited them to enter and/or vote in my Best Dressed Contest. Those willing to enter got their photo snapped with a cute little modern-day Polaroid (the Polaroid 300 if you’re looking to buy one) and we hung their photo up for folks to vote on.

Rease of Indecisive Traveler was willing to be my first guinea pig. I’m not going to lie, I haven’t used a Polaroid camera in about a decade so it took some figuring out.

As the night went on, we had women and men flaunting their stuff in hopes of winning some fabulous prizes from BelleStyle, CLR-MNSTR and Kristen Linares at Thirteenth and Washington.

We had folks vote for their favorite outfit by putting a little glittery heart on their favorite photo.

In the end, it was a heated race between a few girls but the final winners were:

First Place

This gal reworks a lot of clothing so it’s no surprise she took home first place with her fabulous peplum dress!
